my guess is its a heart on a string amongst metal of civilization. Basically he is stating to us how lonely he is and how he barely hangs on to that string of being alive and not being destroyed by the civilization thats made of metal.

...well I taken food from public fridges...someone else's half of a sandwich...I am that hungry...

lets see...I crawl inside buildings just to be in them...I can get inside any building I wish...regardless if it is closed or not, without being unnoticed and not leaving any traces. I know how to avoid cameras...I dont take anything in the buildings, but I am clearly in violation of the law.

Crimes are immoral. Stealing is a crime, so it is immoral.
