View Full Version : A Health/Sport/Fitness/Nutrition etc Forum? Rick 07-30-05, 01:23 AM anyone in favor of this? Rick analbeads 07-30-05, 01:28 AM i am.....i'd love to talk football and hockey (even thought it's not a science) Rick 07-31-05, 12:49 AM Come on people, vote for god's sake.... invert_nexus 07-31-05, 12:53 AM No fucking way. Bells 07-31-05, 01:07 AM No. Please NO! Rick 07-31-05, 01:12 AM well at least someone said something :D §outh§tar 07-31-05, 04:03 PM we have free thoughts for that. GodlessEvil 10-02-05, 02:43 AM Yes, engineering your body to build muscle, working individual muscle groups and understanding metabolism and nutrition to reach your goals IS a science and would be a good addition to the forum IMO . vslayer 10-03-05, 05:28 AM hey, why the fuck not, id sound like a conservative if i decided we shouldnt have one just because i dont want any part in it. if you guys wanna talk about it, go ahead, just dont waste too much bandwidth belonging to true sciences. alain 10-04-05, 12:17 AM as long as its about the sort of stuff godlessevil mentioned, and not just arguments about which football team is better, then id say its a good idea Pi-Sudoku 10-04-05, 04:50 AM if enough people are intersted i suppose there isn't too much harm in it top mosker 10-04-05, 02:55 PM Sports are intended to keep the proles occupied, if I remember correctly... cjard 10-06-05, 12:24 PM mosker; methinks you have an adrenaline deficiency :) EmptyForceOfChi 11-03-05, 08:28 AM yes i would like one, bieng a personal trainer and martial artist, and who just said sport has no science? so whats a sports science degree all about. Xerxes 11-03-05, 03:33 PM I'm also interested. Rick 11-10-05, 02:44 PM man...we have some votes now in favor of this.... Dave are you watching? Later, Rick cosmictraveler 11-10-05, 03:32 PM Wouldn't this be classified under the heading "Human Science "? If not why wouldn't you use that area to address anything about what you are speaking of? spuriousmonkey 11-10-05, 03:34 PM How many threads are started weekly on this topic? I can't say I have seen so many. Hence why bother. EmptyForceOfChi 11-11-05, 08:08 PM there should be a section for this, and 1 question why did 39 odd % of you vote no for this ? i dont see why its a bad idea personally, make one please, peace Facial 11-12-05, 10:13 PM In general, the topic of Health/Sport/Fitness/Nutrition etc would either probably go under Free Thoughts or Human Science. Sports can also be under Art/Culture. The creation of a new subforum wouldn't generate too many new threads, even on all of these topics combined. |
