Aliens are much more terrifying, but in my opinion Predator 2 was a great movie, easily much better than any of the alien ones. So, my vote goes for the Predator.

They're both really cool races. The predator is cool cuz he has all the gats 'n shit, but the alien is just naturally a badass bastard. It would be a really close fight anyway. Without his gear though, the predator stands no chance.

anyone here read the alien and predator or alien vs predator books? Some of them are a wicked read to anyone who likes these two alien races.

Anyway in the books, the predator can easily take out multiple aliens.

So can Marines (which are just so cool)

I've got a few Predator books, my fav being Concrete Jungle

thought concrete jungle was alright, but I didn't like the ending.

Favorite one so far is Alien Vs Predator: Prey. Got a few more to buy though before I can say which one I think is the best.

Paul anderson, who directed resident evil is doing it. I'm not sure if they're basing around a comic or coming up with a idea from scratch. Alien Vs Predator: Prey might be a good one but would need some changes for the big screen.

What I've heard so far is that its a scientist is experimenting on both Aliens and Predator (brave/crazy guy) and the get loose. In come the Marines, carnage ensures. What could be better?

Predators rock!!! They have all those cool weapons like that freaky laser pointer-triangle thing, invisibility (unless it gets wet, DAMN THIS HUMIDITY), the kamikaze bomb on their arm, that discy Glaive-like throwing weapon from Predator 2. Sure the Aliens have incredible speed and can bleed acid on you, but when you can devastate an entire area of enemies with your advanced weaponry you don't need to go close quarters.

The alien, the predator is nothing without tools.

Alien, because the predator is a coward and a sore loser, who blows things up if things aren't going his way. The alien just dies.
