I know some of you may scoff at NPR, but I heard this recently, and found it to be rather interesting.

It's a discussion about how we form political opinions, mostly in terms of liberal vs. conservative. Heavily biased toward the American cultural experience, I think, but still rather fascinating. I thought it may interest some here.

May go better in EM&J or General philosophy, but I'll leave that call to the mods.

Absolutely classic. Beautiful. Thank you. That call from Michael was wonderful in the sense that I climbed the walls at his creepy university-liberal insistence, but the way they wound down to the source of the problem and wrapped up with such a neat little package is the kind of thing we generally don't hear in public discourse where conservatives are involved. The next caller, in fact, bears symptoms nearly four layers deep in his way of explaining things, and I do wish they'd taken more time with him because it would have been entertaining to a cruel degree.
