SeekerOfTruth 10-30-01, 12:10 PM Originally posted by Mad Scientist still here. no hackky. u ppl are gullible. So apparently by your definition if we find something interesting and enjoyable, even though it may or may not be true, we are gullible? Did you know that gullible wasn't in the dictionary? Chagur 10-30-01, 01:00 PM Re.'gullible':What dictionary are you using? http://www.nytimes.com/learning/students/wordofday/20010830.html Mad Scientist 10-30-01, 03:34 PM We are Backslash777. We have subjugated Mad Scientist's user account and have discovered that his name is John Holmeover 832 Barker Ct State College Pa 16801 email address: madscientist@hotmail.com We wil continue to hold Mad Scientist's account until said user bows to our will as we atack and subjugate his computer to stop him form notifying the authorities. Mad Scientist 10-30-01, 04:01 PM We are confused by your lack of proof that Mad Scientist has been compromised. We cannot post under our original user ID as this would illuminate our position to the authorities who are now hunting us. We now have control of Mad Scientist's computer and are looking for places to hide ourselves. Please post ip addresses of willing hosts. We notice that God Mode, peanut and rodent have decided to not to post anymore in fear of authorities. We may not post to this board again in the future as further posts may compromise our location. We understand that an ellite unit of the military is currently tracking our TCP/IP headers and have to keep our location dynamic in order to defend ourselves. We have enjoyed our conversation here and will move into stealth mode now. shaman1301 10-30-01, 04:01 PM Sorry Mad Scientist, your asinine imitation of Backslash777 won't fool anyone. Backslash would always make a second post of the same information under its own name. Check the peanut post! Teri 10-31-01, 06:21 AM Can't we just stick with the one thread for Backslash? What does everyone think? :) Teri SeekerOfTruth 10-31-01, 06:23 AM Originally posted by Chagur Re.'gullible':What dictionary are you using? http://www.nytimes.com/learning/students/wordofday/20010830.html Chagur, Chagur... This is an old joke.... First Person: "Did you know Gullible wasn't in the dictionary" Second Person: "No, Really?" First Person: "Yes, why don't you look it up?" Upon finding a dictionary, the second person realizes they have been had and finds the definition of gullible to typically be "easily deceived or tricked"..... Guygamer 10-31-01, 01:54 PM Yea right what ever uhh I dont think anyone could hack my box (from the net not using my passwords)hell, i cant even hack my box and other hackers I know can't either so i fear nothing no virus, no worm, no \777, or a Mad Scientest if you post my name and adress that wouldn't suprise me because that info is easily found on the net for anyone:p :p :p Chagur 10-31-01, 07:26 PM Okay, I've been had :D The weird bit was that not being sure if there was a double 'l' in the word, I went to M-W ... and lo, no 'gullible', no gulible'! So, I went to Google and came up with the NY Times 'Word of the Day', the URL that I posted even though confused as to what was going on. As I said, weird. Mad Scientist 11-01-01, 03:16 AM OK I come back to check on my troll and all you ppl have ben talking about is that you didn't know what gulible ment? Of course looking it up in the dictionary must have been embarrasing. No wonder Backslash777 likes this board. sigh. Now Mad Scientist, Your air of superiority is getting a little old, especially from someone who doesn't appear to be able to spell gullible or meant...or is that some colloqial style that is suppose to make you appear endearing :D SeekerOfTruth 11-01-01, 09:31 AM Originally posted by Chagur Okay, I've been had :D The weird bit was that not being sure if there was a double 'l' in the word, I went to M-W ... and lo, no 'gullible', no gulible'! Chagur, Just wanted to add that I'm sorry I "caught" you with the joke. I wasn't really trying to fool anyone, I just thought that the joke was so well known that no one would fall for it. I guess I am really showing my age :p BTW, here is a link to a good online dictionary. I use it often, especially when reading some of the posts here at SciForums...too many people with advanced vocabularies for me :D http://work.ucsd.edu:5141/cgi-bin/http_webster Chagur 11-01-01, 11:06 AM After almost sixty nine trips around the sun, I think it's me who is showing his age. No need to apologize, I need a bit of egg on my face every so often (keeps my self-image from becoming too inflated ;) ) And just so you know, the 'weird bit' was concocted as a 'pay back' ... Still haven't mellowed. Oh well. Thanks for the link, looks like it might be of use at times. Did you even look it up? This is so gay. You attack a supposed mis spelling as some sort of proof to the testiment of my illogic and then the word you pick on is in fact spelled right. hahahahhaa. Now first, I've never been a good speller and frankly I could care less when posting to a stupid web board, but for you to think that gullible is spelled wrong makes me think tht you are even dumber than i originally thought. Pzzaboy 11-02-01, 01:36 PM So are you actually a 12 year old or is it testosterone poisoning, what's the deal with the immaturity? Mad Scientist 11-02-01, 03:13 PM Originally posted by Pzzaboy So are you actually a 12 year old or is it testosterone poisoning, what's the deal with the immaturity? Yes I'm a super intelligent 12 year old, just like BS777 is a super intelligent machine. MadScientist 05-08-03, 01:10 PM You've got it all wrong, whoever you are.
