DoD black project?

I'd say it belongs in Science & Society, but

400 separate sightings of these things?

it seems to me these flying triangles have two likely Earth-bound
explanations-

1/ they may be 'black' projects by the USAF or other bodies similar
to the 'stealth bomber' projects of a few years back;

2/ they might be sightings of the NOSS satellites, which travel in
triangular formation;
the human eye/brain system readily fills the gaps between pointlike
light sources in the sky, making a triad of satellites into a
triangular aircraft...
I have seen this phenomenon myself, when Jupiter and Mars were in
conjunction- the space between them was filled by a shadowy but
entirely ilusory shape resembling a cigar.

You may have seen this phenomenon yourself recently as Venus and
Saturn have been in conjunction in the morning sky.

So there is no need to invoke the ET hypothesis yet.

Illusory triangles... Something like this?

I was wondering if anyone had caught this story. I saw it for the first time on Yahoo! of all places. It's making the rounds impressively.

According to NIDS analysis, their behavior is not consistent with covert air/spacecraft, whether it's DoD or USAF. It just doesn't make sense why they would be flaunting a "secret" technology by flying them at low altitudes over cities and highways.

As for them being NOSS satellites, it doesn't add up because they're flying at LOW altitudes and they cast huge shadows. In fact, they're estimated at 250 feet long and 200 wide. And since a lot of these sightings are taking place in cities, that means a lot of observers.

The only problem I have is the scarcity of pictures of these circulating the internet considering how large of a phenomon it apparently is.

Well, if these UFO's are DoD black projects, it has to be kept secret from the public until the proper occasion of deployment. If there is ever going to be a WWIII, I'm suspecting this is the time we get to see all the 'futuristic' weapons cast out. For example, I hear DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) is experimenting on stealthier crafts, rail guns, tesla weapons, and so-called "forcefields." Maybe we already did develop the technology to nover in the air, or access to hypersonic speeds. Only time will tell in 'the next good war'.

I would say that it was an optical illusion. However, how come so many people believe in god but never think they saw the hand of god sweeping across the sky? Instead they think it was some little green men or a government conspiracy.
