I want to read a book on Chaos and the physics around chaos theories, a book in english though, the only language I know beside norwegian, and I don't know of any bright norwegian writing about chaos. Any suggestions on what (or who) to read?

You could start with James Gleik's book, which is called <i>Chaos</i>, funnily enough.

I once read the non-chaos part of "Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos: With Applications to Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Engineering" by Steven Strogatz (I was interested in non-linear dynamics at the time). I found it very good reading, and I suppose the part on chaos is very well written aswel.
