I don't see 'Nature' or 'The Lancet', amongst her publications, ... which sets my 'Woo-ometer' to a reading higher than that EMF detector.

Not as good as daylight, but far better than incandescent bulbs.

The colour temperature of CFLs exceeds 5000k, and the CRI values exceed 80. That's pretty good.

The one thing I can ascertain from this is that fluorescent light is not as good as sunlight.I don't know where you live but the home improvement mega-stores in the USA (Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.) sell solar-spectrum CFLs. They're not much more expensive than the regular ones if you catch the occasional sale and stock up.

I've noticed a tremendous improvement in my sleep cycle since I installed them. Of course I have to remember to turn them off about three hours before bedtime to keep my circadian rhythm in synch.
