What are your opinions about dancing? I mean dancing to music, line dancing, club dancing, whatever...
As for me, I think dancing is an amazing feature of the humans. The fact that you invent movements according to the feel of the music, is like creating spontaneous art based on art. It requires feeling, intuition, also thinking, originality.
Still, when I go out I see very few people that actually dance (artfully, not just moving to the rhythm). I am sure dancing requires a lot of individuality as well.
Besides dancing makes you happy and gets you chicks. :)

Dancing is fun. I haven't gone out in like a year. except for a venture into Salsa and some other latin stuff. I need to learn how to do that well. the women love it:D

break dancing. that's good stuff to watch, and ocasionally try. I don't want to hurt myself.

I sometimes don't see how break-dancing has anything to do with dancing at all. It looks more like some gymnastics to impress the girls, nothing to do with the music.

yeah that's true. there are different types of dances that seem to fall under the breakdance category. some of them seem to ignore the music and opt for interesting body positions.

My middle school teacher could breakdance. She promised us, then we graduated and she never showed. However, she can strangle herself with her own hair, so we forgive her.

We were also forced to do swing dancing in middle school.

As for me, guess what I can do?

The Robot! :D ("You don't say!")

I also want to learn the Para Para, a Japanese line dance of a sort. It's more like aerobics, but it's based on the movement of a cherry tree (or those really famous trees in Japan that litter the ground with white blossoms come season).

dancing can be fun.
it can also be alot of work.
i spent 8.5 hours sunday and 3 hours monday choreographing a one minute 45 second routine.

as for club dancing.. its fun when you're with the righ people. but if you go with people that can't dance to save their life.. its not as fun at all.

So true.. That is one reason I usually go out alone.
I went out with people from work before.. what a bore.
Of course, going out alone you depend that there will be people there who can dance. Very often, there isn't a single person. Sometimes very few.

dancing is excellent.

for me it's a release, it's exercise, it's fun and it's enjoyable to the max.

shake those hips, tap those feet, wave your hands in the air and nod you head.:D

i also do liquid (rave) dancing, but not very well. mostly just ball and wristrolls, but its fun.

its an arcade game with the arrow keys on the floor and you have to step on the right ones when arrows hit the top of the screen. the game pad looks like : /\
< >
\/ and the screen tells you where to go.

\/ and the screen tells you where to go. Oh, I played that! It's easy at first, then when you get up there, it's so hard! It's not something to do all in one go, that's for sure :D
