Wow they put kazaa to shame...that's too cool ....too bad i am not really a fan...i like their stuff but it's another angst ridden band in a sea of millions....but they were the pioneers of sorts of that stuff.

Deftones, one of my fave bands without a doubt.

Deftones are probably my favorite group....White Pony I would have to say is the best CD they put out. Be quiet and drive= great ass song!

I know they are putting out a new cd this month....does anyone know the exact date of release????

Yeah, the new Deftones album is out on May 20 in the United States, May 19 internationally.

Personally, I also think White Pony is their strongest effort. I'm not too impressed by the new single, Minerva, but I'm waiting to judge the album as a whole. I've got high expectations!

I love the Deftones as well. Minerva is awesome.

Admit it, this will be their 4th(?) album... and this song rocks for being on a 4th album ;)

From hearing the lyrics of said tune, it sounds like they are keeping consistent with the randomness!

Yeah. Unlike most bands, the Deftones keep getting better every CD. It seems like their defining characteristics are becoming stronger in their sound. I highly approve of this band! :cool:

I've never really gotten it when it comes to Deftones. Their only really awesome tune is The Passenger, and who knows where that one'd been if it weren't for Maynard... :p

The rest of their stuff is all... Sounds the same, monotone to me. Back to school is pretty cool, but like I said... Passenger... *shivers*

Hey, yeah, I am definatly a Mike Patton fan. I say Tomahawk open for Tool in Sacramento, and that kicked some ass. They were much better thought this month in Portland. There new stuff is even better too, but I would say to people that only have heard the record and not the live stuff, you are definatly missing out.

The new cd came out today, listening to it right now, so far its awesome!!!

Change is probably one of my all-time favorite songs, so awesome. That and My Own Summer from the matrix soundtrack. Has anyone heard Lucky You on the reloaded soundtrack? I bought it and woah, very awesome. Deftones Rock. Nuff said.
