The system is not letting me delete any of my posts.

Users do not have the authorization to delete threads. You must ask a moderator (of the relevant forum) or myself.

I have been unable to delete my posts. I have not tried to delete a thread for a long time.

I receive the message as described by esp, I think you have a bug, or the feature has been acccidentlally disabled.

Ah, yes. You are right, Cris. I accidentally revoked the ability for users to delete their posts and their threads, when I meant only to revoke thread-deletion.

This is now corrected.

i can't delete also, following as described on help. the message says: "you have no permission... blah... blah...", even that was my thread, and there is the only one post (mine) in the thread :confused:

note: it was on: "Frontier Physiscs" --> "again... Adam's motor"

The behaviour is correct.

Users can delete their own posts, but cannot delete threads. This is true even if there is only one post in a thread.

But i think it still necessary for user to able delete his/her own thread. Specially when there is no reply yet.

I think that maybe the user who starts the thread should also have authority to delete the whole thread.
Like maybe it's related to a date dependant thing, and it's not relevant any more.

Once upon a time, I started a thread, and now it doesn't exist.
It's not that it timed out, it's been deleted.

I was wondering have you had any suspicious looking men in suits and ties telling you that they are apart of the British Goverment and humbley requesting for you to delete it?
Or do you think it just might of been deleted from a glitch triggered by myself or someone that hijacked my account over the past couple of weeks?
