the federal goverment's review (i dont know the exact name) has recently recomended introducing a new model for universal dental care in australia and im interested to see what (especially the australians here) think a) of the idea of a medicare style dental health program and b) what sort of model people would favor for it.

:confused::confused:About to 2.25 per cent to extend universal coverage of health services to dental care. The plans would be funded by a new healthcare levy set as high as 14 per cent.

Dental associations plays a vital role in making people aware about their dental health and oral care.

It means give every Australian universal access to preventive and restorative dental care and dentures.

The best dental preventive care is precut meat (like you find in Chinese resturants) and regular flossing. Orthodontics need special care of course.

I found that using listerine strips before bedtime, and after meals, cuts down visit to the dentists by 70%.
