Simple question,

What's the best way to stop from eating, when your craving something to eat, yet you know you aren't hungry?

Next time you have these cravings, brush your teeth. I know everytime I eat after I brush my teeth any type of food tastes horrible. try it, it just might work.

Eat an apple which is healthy and also releases its sugars very slowly so stopping hunger pangs

One way to stop eating is to eat lots of food and get really full. You will then stop eating after that.

er... actually drink lots of water works, if you don't mind wetting your bed.

there is an old latvian saying

breakfast for yourself, lunch for your friend, supper for your enemy

old time latvians thought that it is unhealthy to eat late at night

I don't know how much of that is true

I don't have to worry: I can eat as much as I want and I don't gain one pound.

hehe...

For me, I use the computer. I'm so into what I'm doing, I hardly notice the time, so in the end, I eat much less. For example, I can skip breakfast and lunch, and have a healthy dinner at 8. A good thing about not eating for a long time is that you start to not want to eat, because you just don't feel hungry.

But if you haven't found anything to fill your hours with, I suggest eating plenty of fruits and vegetables. The fruits will help prevent sugar cravings, and lots of raw vegetables will make you feel sick so you won't want to eat. :D

I don't want to stop eating at midnight cause I gain weight by it. It's just very annoying when I wake up I feel full and that screws up my meals for the rest of the day.

I'll try the water thing, can always use more water.

Thanks a lot!

I have a similar problem grass. I have a serious case for the munchies and just get up and grab a cookie. Good thing is though, like bluesoul, I don't gain any weight. Must be my mumbolism (Bluesoul might get that)

Getting the munchies late at night usually means your running out of fuel - go to bed if you can fall asleep.
