They're working on another Jurassic Park. The last one sucked. So did the one before it. And the first wasn't that great but was pretty good. They're just milking the franchise for all it's worth. And I'm sick of companies doing that. I'm still gonna see the movie when it comes out but we all know it's gonna suck! arggghh!
yeh, you"re right,JP-3 sucked and now if they make one more they"ll get opening of 2$...and total money earned will be 4$...shit!...
bye!
Pollux V 11-09-02, 08:09 AM But the problem is that we're all gonna see it anyway. It's jurassic park. Jurassic Park is cool. I wonder if Crichton is onboard...if he were supervising the script or something it might not be half bad, since he didn't do a damn thing to the last one.
Yeah, sequels suck.
But my thought is this: It's pretty cool that they're filming so many movies back-to-back...LOTR, Harry P., the Matrix sequels...maybe they'll be less likely to lose their flavor. Since the same people are working on the films, and they're being filmed with the same spirit and the same overall story in mind, maybe they'll retain more of their lustre.
CounslerCoffee 11-09-02, 12:39 PM Yes JP-3 was not all that great, I still thought it was cool though. The special effects I mean. In the way of a plot line.... the only reason I wanted to watch it was to see if Tia Leonli (Now Ducovney?!) would die.
Pollux V 11-09-02, 01:16 PM Nah, it sucked, counsler. It really, really sucked. Major-ly. Leoni, as well as the entire cast, should have been eaten. In fact, after they would have all been eaten, a meteor should have ironically hit the earth and killed off everyone in the fictional universe, except Ian Malcom, who is the coolest character in any of Michael Crichton's books, and any movies that are based on them.

Ian, are you a fucking idiot? The first movie was fuckin awesome! It would kick Signs' ass anyday! I think you need to start watching some good movies, and stop wasting your time on bad movies like Signs.
You'd have thought they would've learnt they're lesson....
Well, not really, see how many Police Acadamy films there were...and those terrible Delta Force films..the list of bad sequels can go on forever
grazzhoppa 11-09-02, 02:05 PM As long as there are big scaley dinos and people running from them, I'll see it. Is it right to say Jurassic Park is America's Godzilla?
Actually, I'd say Godzilla is the American Godzilla. I quite liked that film and I reckon Matthew Broderick is a great actor.
Pollux V 11-09-02, 03:13 PM I liked it too, but everyone I know locally thought it sucked major ass.
Pete, the movie was good, warranted, but not awesome.
CounslerCoffee 11-09-02, 04:39 PM Even though JP-4 is being made il still see it. Sometime I just see movies for the special effects, sorta like how I saw episode one.... SW:E1 sucked....majorerly sucked, but it had awesome specail effects.
Pollux V 11-09-02, 06:10 PM Agreed.
I think Mel should get an academy for Signs and also Night(For Direction and not acting) both of the guys have done a pretty neat job...
Joaquin was kewl too,but was much better in Glad...
And the promos were just Brilliant...dont you think so?it generated great excitement...
bye!
For all the Cinema Buffs JP can be a good option, since you only enjoy JP in theatre...On my TV they seem like Lizards...
bye!
UberDragon 11-10-02, 01:54 PM The first flick was awesome (Cactus Jack will vouche for that), the second was okay, but you have to read the book. My brother and my father agree that the third would have been good had they made it the second one, but I don't see how that is possible because Isla Sorna was introduced in the second film.
Pollux V 11-11-02, 11:46 AM The third one sucked. The action sucked. The acting sucked. The filmaking (i.e shots, directing etc etc) sucked. The special effects sucked (yep, you heard me say it). It all sucked. It hardly even had a storyline. It just sucked. It sucked major ass. You would be hard pressed to find more ass suckage--anywhere. In fact, you might have to head over to your grandma's place and suck HER ass just to figure out how awful this movie really is, just for reference, in case you haven't seen it. I don't care where they put it in the trilogy, it wouldn't matter, 'cause it just sucks.
The first was good. But I will never say that it was great. Great films are not only good but carry a kind of art with them, like when you leave them from the theatre you think "mother fooker, that was one good movie! In fact, I could even say that it is great!"
On Radioactive Waves 11-12-02, 01:38 AM not to mention also the most self hyped movie, and most hyped movie of its time(according to their own infomercial)!
how pathetic
I read the book The Lost World like 5 times in grade 6 (it's a big book too), was my favorite book. Went and saw the movie... and I felt sorry for the book, no book should be violated that badly =/
UberDragon 12-17-02, 11:03 PM no book should be anally rendered with a vacuum-producing, spiked-steel, dildo like that by such a horrible movie.
Part 4!? Can't they just stay away from the island?
