I have way too much time on my hands, will post soon but I have to start this debate...

If you cross a female tiger and a male Lion you get a "Liger" rather large as the female is the bigger parent, biggest of all the cats in the world...

If you cross a female lion and male tiger you get a "Tigon" a midget version of the same thing, cause mommy is small and can't handle daddy's genes...

Now back to the starwars relation...think of this in terms of wookies and ewoks...

Male Ewok and Female Wookie=Ewkie
Male Wookie and Female Ewok=Wookwok

Make sense?

They're two completely different species. Not even within the same group. The only reason tigers and lions can mate is because they are of the same genus, Panthera, and thus basically the same except for some minute differences in behavior, appearance, and size. Wookie/Ewok crossbreeding would be as impossible as human/toucan crossbreeds.

I have nightmares about Star Trek Wars fans interbreeding, thus creating a new race of ubergeeks, who would then hold the rest of the human race in thrall forever, using a combination of advanced maths skills and bad fashion sense. Does the robot happen to wear glasses? If so, I don't really see a problem. Neither will this hypothetical myopic mechanoid until it's too late.

Even less possible, because Toucans and humans have common ancestors, I doubt Ewoks and Wookies do

Additionally, both humans and toucans exist.
