Since there are a lot of questions about the updates, This thread will try to piece together what people want to know about the updates and how to do particular things in the forum.
Album
Is there limitations on what images I upload to my Album?
It's set as less than 100kb in size and less than 600 x 600 pixels. During upload if your image is larger either by dimension or size, the software will attempt to downsize the image. The process can be CPU intensive and will likely put strain on the server, so it's suggested you downsize your images prior to uploading.
Why aren't my images showing?
It's possible they are awaiting a moderator to approve them Member's should have no problems uploading now , it's also possible that you've signed out. You'll need to be signed in, especially if you are linking images within forum posts.
Any limitations on what I can upload?
(As added by Plazma) Pictures and albums will be moderated and all pictures that breach copyright laws or that contain pornographic, offensive or disturbing content or any other material that directly or indirectly violates SciForums rules, will be removed.
Social Groups
Why can't I use BBCode to place Links or text formatting in Social groups?
It's the standard default for the "New" discussion groups, they are pretty new to the forum software not just the forum itself and it will likely take a while for such additions to be added. It might be possible for a "Hack" to be made, however this is something that could take a while to debug, so all that can be suggested is: It's Unsupported for now.

What exactly are tags?
Tags are added by Thread starters and posters to generate keywords that identify the topic of the thread they've been added to. These keywords then are tallied up to create a "Tag Cloud (http://www.sciforums.com/tags.php)". This basically means that when you check the cloud the words that are shown bigger via their Size suggest there are more threads tagged with that same tag. You can click and individual keyword from the Tag Cloud (http://www.sciforums.com/tags.php) to bring up a list of the threads that share that keyword.
What exactly are the bookmarks at the bottom of the thread?
Bookmarks is a way to create a link to either share or house for use later on at one of the various bookmark websites. These aren't like bookmarks you save to your browser, because you can log into those websites from other computers to retrieve the bookmark you've saved. It's also possible for other people to find things new things if they are looking to see if they have anything in common with you, by following any public bookmarks you save.
