Another incredibly beautiful woman. (Since I posted a thread on Ana Alvarez, I thought I'd put one here for Ghoncheh Tazmini too.) She's got a book out too. Seasons of the heart Vancouver : Elm Tree Press, 1999, ISBN 0-9686200-0-0. Poetry. You can read an essay of hers here (http://greatgame.no.sapo.pt/acopiniao/CentralAsiaSurvey.pdf).
Date of Birth (Era): 1974
Place of Birth: Tehran, Iran
Her bio:
I was born in Tehran in 1974 but was raised in Europe, namely England and Portugal. When I was a teenager my family moved to Vancouver, Canada, where I attended the University of British Columbia and majored in International Relations. Upon graduation, I returned to England where I obtained my Master's Degree from the London School of Economics. I took a year off during which I travelled and compiled my first book of poetry, "Seasons of the Heart". My book is a collection of poetry with varied themes and emotions, ranging from creation to death.
And you can find a bunch of her poems here: http://www.persianpoema.com/Poets/Contemporary/
Enjoy. :D
