Gridiron is appaling, Gridiron is dire, Gridiron is baleful...in short this "sport" is total crap.
This is the most contrived, artificial, pretentious, pompous, self absorbed sport on the face of the planet.
First the term "football" should not be associated with it, it's an insult to REAL football....what you Americans call "Soccer". Why don't you call your own monstrous creation "soccer", call it whatever you want, just don't steal our name that we gave to our sport...ok?
I watched (or tried to) this rubbish on several occaisions, it's surprising the rubbish that they'll show on Brit TV. There is absolutely no flow or rythm to this sport what so ever. The "action" is stopped every few seconds.
