Halloween is coming so how about some ghost tails,there is a church in the village that i work,and when i was coming home one night in the winter, i was riding an old three speed bike, my friend was on a ten speed racer it was just striking midnight,and we both saw a figure in white and it had a white dog, we did not stop to find out what it was, O and my mates ten speed it did not stand a chance against my three speed i lleft him standing.:D

Is it really that fun?
Here in Sweden the tradition is just about to get rooted, but I don´t understand why.
Or maybe I´m just in a negative mood...excuse me.
I had fun once though, I won a costume competition...or was that at new years eve?

Aren't all holidays excuses to get 'rooted'? Plus you've got the senseless (but socially justifiable) violence and vandalism that goes along with such.

But I´m still willing to believe that the original intention had a "higher" purpose. But on the other hand, who is to say what is high and what is low. Getting "rooted" might be the highest some people will get in a lifetime, unfortunately.

halloween is a gret holiday, when we all get to act a little crazy, and dress up fun with out people looking at us sideways. plus.. all the free candy... although.. i think its getting a little sad when you can't trust the candy in the bag so much that you fill an extra pillow case with store bought candy, and switch it when your kid comes home.... ill be passing out the goodies this year.. and im gonna decorate my WHOLE porch (well, actually its not that big.. but)...it gonna be so much fun. :)

Halloween is definitly my favorite hol, besides the 4th of July. It's an excuse for dressing up, playing drinking games involving really bad movies (rent some Peter Cushing vampire flicks and have a shot of vodka every time he tries to hypnotize some chick. Fun fun.) and hanging out in graveyards trying to summon Satan.

I just like the fact that everyone is out and about at night in that fair winter weather. Scaring little kids is fun too hehe. But I would never ever hang out in a graveyard. Too spooky for me hehe.
