I'm going on the radio on Monday at 6PM EST, turn your long distance recievers to 89.9 FM or 102.9FM to listen to YOUTH ALIVE or something sounding like that that is similar. The channel is called WERU, tis nonprofit and a community one. I don't know if you guys can get the channel, it isn't even statewide. But if you have big antennas I would recommend giving it a shot, I'm going to be talking for a FULL HOUR.

We'll probably be recording the program but based on what I've seen on the website I don't think they'll be posting it for download. I could be wrong and I'll tell you if they do make one, well, if they do.

I would recommend trying to tune into the station now, to see if you can get it. I don't know where you live but it gets fuzzy after you get into southern maine so chances are you need a pretty powerful antenna......

Oh, and we'll be talking about politics, mostly about the war with Iraq. We're all fairly liberal, which is rather unfortunate because maine is evenely divided with liberals and conservatives. We want to try to dispell some of the rumors and generalizations the media makes about teenagers, how we all aren't dumbass losers but are sometimes:D;)

Iowa's pretty far away, in the midwest I believe. Things don't look good pumpkins. If you by some insane chance have a lot of money to throw around you could hop in a plane and fly to Nova Scotia, and you could time it right so that you fly right over maine and get the station. Otherwise you might try taking a drive down to the Very Large Array, the one that works with SETI. The signal might bounce off the moon, and if they're bored maybe they'll help you out. Otherwise things look pretty grim.

If you really want it I could probably send you and transcript and/or a recording. This goes for Q as well.

I bet there is probably some kind of link on the WERU website which will allow you to listen to the talk on the internet. I know you can do that on NPR (90.9), and that is broadcasted out of small places here too, so I bet that you will be able to find some way of doing it. Anyways, schwartz, I hope you talk better than you did on the announcements at school, cause that was just sad. Maybe WERU will even say you suck, and that will be a real sign of something
I am sure you will do just fine, who else is talking with you up there? I drove by the place yesterday, and there were SO many cars outside. What is the phone #, if I want to call in, or if other sciforums dudes want to call in? I don't think I am going to be able to call in though, cause I got a sports banquet that night. I can't remember the number, you just have to listen, they'll broadcast it a few times I bet. Yeah, admittedly the announcements I did sucked, but I had about ten minutes of notice, here we've been working on the show for about a month. I think I'll do better, because I know what I'm doing when it comes to politics and social sciences.

I'm going to be on for the whole hour, with Mario and other people I don't think you've heard of. Hell they're pretty quiet anyway so it won't mattah much.
