How can u become a mod for these forums?

Since it is Porf's board, I imagine he makes that basic decision.

If you scroll down this forum a bit, you will see a recent election where Counselor Coffee became the newest Mod. It looks to me like the proceedure is this:

1. Porf decides it's time for another Mod.
2. He calls for volunteers and nominations.
3. He allows the members to vote.
4. A new Mod is born.

You need to get to step one before you can take step four.

1. Make a shrine to Porfiry in the cleanest spot of your room.
2. Cut off small pieces of your own body parts and burn them in the name of Porfiry.

Um, you obviously have to be well-known, in a good way, to the majority of posters on this site. For example, this is the first time I see your username.

And you can't have 'monkey' in your name. This is a serious forum.

I back spurious monkey because we have talked before and I think you would be a great addition. By the way we spoke when my name was ItalianIntellectual.

Very easy! Strip your clothes off and then tar and feather yourself and send Porf a photo of you in this state, running down the freeway during peak hour :D.
