"...and they make a very nice fish curry!" Comedic in a dark way, but also kind of a "Tibet? What do I think about Tibet? Well, nothing, because I like fish curry, and because fuck Tibet." Tiny bit bastardly.

Did like the beer commercial, now I'm off to drink one, but not Stella Artois, because that's for giant sissies in underground bars.

More than "tiny bit". I thought that it was seriously bastardly. But when we have the Chinese manufacturing all of our products and buying all of the debt we rack up to purchase them, they get to call the shots, I guess. The Tibetans are expendable and we are probably going to be getting more of those little instructional messages in our advertising informing us of that fact.

I kind of liked that Volkswagen ad with the beetle running along madly with racing stripes on its back. Apparently VW's bringing some kind of new version of the Bug back!

The chimpanzee drivers in ties and burberry raincoats were funny.

But maybe my favorite was that love poem to Detroit by Eminem and Chrysler. There was a seriousness to it was kind of touching and memorable.

I agree...usually there's one or two standouts that are LOL funny...or something. Nothing really stood out this year.
