Do you hate your printer, and the expensive ink that runs out at the worst possible moment.
I do. :)
Which is why I cant wait for inkless printing:

I use public school printer...they get to worry about it, not me. There are 10 printers automatically redirecting a document if one of the printers' mulfunctions. The printers are connected to different alternate power sources...if there is outage of power, they will still function. The printers each use different inks...if some inks produced by a company are not top-notch, the other ink are sure to work.
The system is fool-proof, better than NASA.

it isn't the ink that's expensive, it's the cartridges.

It just replaces expensive ink with expensive paper. Neat, though.

It just replaces expensive ink with expensive paper. Neat, though. The colour has to go somewhere...I'd rather have it in the paper and get away with a smaller printer that doesnt need maintenance.
I'm always looking for smaller quieter components.

How about LCD displays (http://www.coolest-gadgets.com/20071004/digital-picture-frames-comparison/)- No cartridges, no paper.

So, instead of ink in printer, this uses 'ink' in the paper? Neat idea, at least as an alternative to ol' printer.
I wonder how expensive the paper is.

I wonder how expensive the paper is.
Initially, 20-25 cents per two by three photo.
