Thanks, S.Tarafdar guesmika 01-28-05, 10:28 AM Hi friends I have a question concerning the boost converter small signals model (Ldi/dt, Cdvc/dt). Why this modelling approache describe perfectly the dynmics of the output voltage arround a given operating point and falls, in the same time, to describe the inductor current ? Dilbert 01-28-05, 10:42 AM are you hijacking his thread? psikeyhackr 03-19-05, 03:49 PM "power electronics" ???? Is he talking about the branch of electrical engineering dealing with power production and distribution? Try these: TEACH YOURSELF ELECTRICITY AND ELECTRONICS by Stan Gibilisco THE ART OF ELECTRONICS by Horowitz and Hill Good books reduce the need to ask questions. ajaypai88 01-08-09, 08:18 AM Hello, I have very recently started using Multisim and am not used to it.I need to carry out certain power electronics simulations in multisim and am not able to find components such as thyristor or igbt for that purpose. Does multisim support power electronic devices? Could anyone help me out in this regard? And is there any other good simulation tool particularly for power electronics? Thanks in advance. Regards Ajay PS: sorry if this wasn't the proper section to post this blog Edit/Delete Message adilmahsan 06-07-09, 05:21 AM Multisim does have thyristors and it does support simulation of power electronic circuits however, the extended database comes at a price it is available in the powerpro edition and probably in the professional edition though not in the educational one |
