I think I would only consider this amazing if I personally believed that the city was somehow personally against Muslims, which I don't, and you shouldn't either.

I also believe that instead of giving showy useless displays like this, the city should make Eid, the end of Ramadan, a special holiday for public schools just like how Christian and Jewish holidays are days off. That would at least have a practical benefit for the large Muslim communities in the city.

I think that the bleeding-heart liberals of the USA are just working up toward total surrender to the Muslims ....just little bits at a time so when they finally surrender, it won't come as such a shock to the general population.

By showing this small gesture of understanding toward most of the Muslims that are not radicals I think it can only help to heal the misguided medias attempt to show that Muslims are all bad. The majority of the Muslim community isn't radical but only follow their religion as Christians, Jews and others follow theirs. We need to heal the bad media against Muslims and by doing small things as this we are trying to show some compassion toward the majority of Muslims. I can only hope that more gestures continue to shed light upon the good Muslims of the world not just on the bad ones as the media always does.
