I was fortunate enough today to catch Science Friday on my local NPR affiliate. One of the topics of discussion was nanobristle structures (http://www.sciencefriday.com/program/archives/200901095), and I found the whole topic appealing, but I haven't heard anything about this subject outside of this program.

Where can I get more info on it (and I have googled it, and there isn't really anything out there).

Googling "gecko feet" and the like turns up a lot of stuff like this (from which the technical papers can be traced) http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/10/081009143704.htm

Ahhh so that explains gecko's sticky feet. Interesting.
