Whether being banned from the presidents speech or prevented from voting college students are the latest casualty in the electoral morass. In Kalamazoo Michigan, a group of students who'd obtained tickets to see Bush speak were prevented from doing so. Why? Because a group of trained College Republicans identified them as non supporters:
"They told us that we failed a background check, that we had been identified by volunteers as a potential threat, and that if we didn't leave we would be arrested."
In their comments, the conservatively dressed group of students, the "potential treat," sound positively "Leave it to Beaver":
"We wanted to get a better idea of what (Bush's) like...All we get are little soundbites on the news."
Neither the Kalamazoo College Republicans nor the Bush Campaign cared to comment.
