View Full Version : Proof at last: there is no god James R 07-11-09, 10:38 PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xfqht0LEOWQ Enjoy! EntropyAlwaysWins 07-11-09, 11:17 PM Excellent! :D Teetotaler 07-12-09, 12:52 AM I didn't click your link which I have already foreseen to be stupid. But I have seen Ghost in the Shell, 1st Gig and found it to be truly interesting. Last of all, there is proof that there IS a God and that all scientist up until now have been severely narrow minded. The most fun I can have now is to go on the religion forums and scare the crap out of people. But there is a God, he is Christian, and he does want you to GET OUT before his wrath. EntropyAlwaysWins 07-12-09, 01:11 AM Just watch the video, its funny, it's not meant to be serious. James R 07-12-09, 01:43 AM I didn't click your link which I have already foreseen to be stupid. So you're saying you prejudge things without even seeing them, and that you're closed minded. Ok. Teetotaler 07-12-09, 02:22 AM I'm saying that I have inside information at this point that automatically allows me to make judgments about statements that I already know to be false. Scientists are pretty much done at this point. There is no tracing the universe back further than they have already done, which is ten to the whatever negative seconds that is. I know a lot about the Big Bang, Stephen Hawkings quest for the TOE, and religion, and have been blessed to see the universe from a angel's eye view. And it's not my fault that it required becoming a functional schizophrenic. And I might look at your video later. That is, if I feel like it. Jan Ardena 07-12-09, 02:29 AM Just watch the video, its funny, it's not meant to be serious. Wrong on both counts? jan. James R 07-12-09, 02:37 AM I'm saying that I have inside information at this point ... You talk to God directly, do you? I see. Scientists are pretty much done at this point. There is no tracing the universe back further than they have already done, which is ten to the whatever negative seconds that is. I didn't realise you were a cosmologist. Which university do you work at? I know a lot about the Big Bang, Stephen Hawkings quest for the TOE, and religion, and have been blessed to see the universe from a angel's eye view. And it's not my fault that it required becoming a functional schizophrenic. You do realise that schizophrenics have delusions, don't you? And I might look at your video later. That is, if I feel like it. I certainly hope so, after all the time and effort you've wasted commenting about it when you haven't even watched it. But it's up to you. James R 07-12-09, 02:37 AM Wrong on both counts? Another theist with no sense of humour. My, they are coming out of the woodwork this week. Teetotaler 07-12-09, 02:44 AM I really don't have time to waste with people who practice quick brainstorming with the intentions of maximizing the wit of their retorts. Lesson to you, you didn't brainstorm long enough. James R 07-12-09, 02:46 AM But you are wasting your time talking to me, Teetotaler. You keep replying. Why don't you head off and chat to an angel? Teetotaler 07-12-09, 02:47 AM You do realise that schizophrenics have delusions, don't you? Yes. That may or may not be real. Teetotaler 07-12-09, 02:49 AM You talk to God directly, do you? I see. I didn't realiZe you were a cosmologist. Which university do you work at? The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education. Albert Einstein. Teetotaler 07-12-09, 02:50 AM But you are wasting your time talking to me, Teetotaler. You keep replying. Why don't you head off and chat to an angel? If A is success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut. Albert Einstein. I'm Playing. :p James R 07-12-09, 03:10 AM I didn't realiZe you were a cosmologist. I didn't realiSe that you were an American and therefore can't spell. Jan Ardena 07-12-09, 03:11 AM Another theist with no sense of humour. My, they are coming out of the woodwork this week. I can sense the humour, but it's not funny. Those particular comedy actors are quite humorous, but not really funny. Now, if you want funny, Jim Carey is the man. jan. James R 07-12-09, 03:12 AM Jim Carrey? Meh. Too over the top for my tastes. Most of his stuff is slapstick. StrangerInAStrangeLa 07-12-09, 03:28 AM -=- You don't appreciate slapstick??? James R 07-12-09, 03:50 AM Slapstick can be fun, but Carrey's range is limited. He's the same in every movie. KennyJC 07-12-09, 04:44 AM LOL the video in the OP makes me miss good ol' British humor. Enmos 07-12-09, 05:09 AM lol Fantastic :D To Teetotaler and Jan, get a life! swarm 07-12-09, 05:30 AM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xfqht0LEOWQ Enjoy! Ok, normally I don't click video links with no explanations but after tee was afraid to look at it and jan freaked out I gave it a try and I must say its a very Pythonesque send up of the topic. Now excuse me while I checkout some of their other stuff. Repo Man 07-12-09, 09:34 AM Slapstick can be fun, but Carrey's range is limited. He's the same in every movie. There is one exception - The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. James R 07-12-09, 07:30 PM There is one exception - The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. True. |
