how can i change the horrible font used by sciforums with opera browser and ubuntu?

i am sure you are aware of the fact that, for some reason, this site uses a crappy font with this combination and nothing changes it.

stryder provided me with:
hold down the control key and use your mouse wheel to increase or decrease the font size.

the only other solution i can think of is to determine what font sciforums uses then find the font you want to use then rename that font to what sciforums uses. the drawback is that this will affect every application that uses that font.

Thanks, that is better. I just noticed that it is not only sciforums but some other forums as well. Changing the font type in the preferences does not help. It works much better with the same OS and FF.

Kind of like a terminal window or something from 1985.

fyi, the other forum is phpBB. i notice the problem is due to the software.
