If you have any knowledge on Moscow you would know about Stalin's seven sisters. They were built to show Stalinism’s great power, imposing, stable, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Here are Stalin's seven sisters which were built in the early 50's:

Moscow State University, 1953 (http://skyscraperpage.com/graphics/dotclear.gif)

Moscow Uni. II (http://skyscraperpage.com/gallery/data/650/2635msu.jpg)

Hotel Ukraine, 1955 (http://skyscraperpage.com/graphics/dotclear.gif)

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 1953 (http://skyscraperpage.com/graphics/dotclear.gif)

Kudrinskaya Square,1954 (http://skyscraperpage.com/graphics/dotclear.gif)

Hotel Leningradskaya,1953 (http://skyscraperpage.com/graphics/dotclear.gif)

Red Gate Square.1953 (http://skyscraperpage.com/graphics/dotclear.gif)

As you can see the buildings are pleasing to the eye (at least mine) but Stalin did not finish the 8th building, the capitalist Russia of today is going to finish Stalin's great sister:

Here are pictures of the lost beauty:

This building will be the world's second largest residential building, the tallest being in Seoul. I should say that the Capitalists have completed the Moscow skyline.
