Now some of you may be wondering what this thread is for…but it’s a serious thread. Since I do have exams coming up I am asking for the administration to ban me from Nov.11 to Dec.11, 2004. I propose this become a sticky just in case another student may need some sci time off. :m:

How about not coming onto SciForums in the first place?

If ya ask to be banned for any ammount of time, the administrators will extend that time period into permanency. Delete yer post while ya can!

I've seen this exact thing done on the overclockers.com forums. These forums can be addicting. Especially when you're trying to force yourself to read something you don't really want to.

The exams period is a great way to exercise your will power. And here, you can see me typing away while I have tons of work to do that is due within a week or a month, or was due a week ago.
Give in to desire! Indulge in scis even when you're not supposed to!

Actually, as I'm browsing this forum, I'm actually in exam period.... I just finished getting killed by the third exam, and the last subject is ready in a week...

We have a prof among us?

Well, I would hardly call myself a prof. More like an instructor, and a very immature and stupid one these days to boot. So put the machete away. Exert your violent energies on someone with real authority and a PhD.

Well, Spuriousmonkey has a PhD, has he not?

But he doesn't teach. So, he's cool.

No he's not. He hates pandas.

And why hasn't Undecided been banned?

meh.

if you dont want to be addicted, do what i do...../did:
ive been here six months, and all i did was:
a) post insanely (ask anyone its true)
then
b)not come here for a couple of months
then, you enjoy the place, but since you came off for a couple of months (when my A levels started) you realise that life kicks ass, as do I. then you become desesitised to the phenomonen of spending all day here, e.g. athel and dream (well its true).
