Is there software out there than you can feed a whole lot of texts from a forumites text whom you suspect to be someone else, and compare it to his original writing?

Something compares the use of grammar, looks for similar spelling mistakes and that kinda of stuff?

google? But yes there is. The uni's use it to check for plagurisium

Ive tried google, and came up with things like http://www.niederlandistik.fu-berlin.de/textstat/software-en.html

Im hoping someone has something simple that theyve used before...

i ment if you put key frazes INTO google it will find any matches

aaaah... thats actually pretty smart. I can "site: sciforums.com "this is my phrase"

and then I can see what gets chucked out. That's definitely an option. thanks for the advice.

thats what they do at uni to catch us out. Then they run it through text software to check for books

Never been a problem for me though. I dont cheat
