Here we may post our predictions for the future star wars movie, plus also discuss news headlines. I, thus declare this!

My prediction for the story line:

Amidala will die early in the movie but after she has Luke and Leia. Anakin will feel that it was the jedi's fault, that they could have protected her better, so he begins to retreat back to Palpatine, who turns him evil, I guess. While this is happening the clone wars are still raging, across the galaxy, but the separatist movement is slowly being crushed by the republic.

The plans for the death star are then stolen by Palpatine from the Separatist movement, and the empire begins to form, when he unveils himself to the jedi, and has anakin kill all of the jedi he can find. Yoda then flees to Dagobah, but anakin follows him there. Anakin is defeated by Yoda (that's where the pit of evil in ESB comes from) and heads back to coruscant, where kenobi confronts him and they have this massive battle, with windu and palpatine involved. The jedi are defeated but anakin falls into a lava pit. Mace Windu dies, and Kenobi gives the twins to Bail Organa, who begins to sow the seeds of the New Rebellion and later the New Republic on Alderaan. Kenobi brings Luke to Tatooine and goes into hiding, keeping an eye on him all the while.

Filmaking wise I don't think the movie will be very good, well acted, well written, well directed etc, it will probably have amazing effects, which kind of gets annoying after awhile, but oh well. I just hope that maybe this one will actually be amazingly good, rather than mediocre good or just plain awful, like the previous two.

Pollux, mention my Millenium Falcon theory, go on, ya know ya want to!!

Pollux V

You said that we'd see the millenium falcon...but you couldn't back up your statement....er....um...

And goofy, I don't get the joke, but post your thoughts! Please!

Thor
11-11-02, 01:11 PM
Whaddya mean I can't back it up!!! It came from Solo's mouth himself

I believe it was in A New Hope when Han Solo said 'This baby fought in the clone wars'

So....I am predicting and hoping George Lucas spotted this (very unlikely I know) and decided to put the best ship in the galaxy into his new film

Fingers crossed!!

Pollux V
11-11-02, 01:17 PM
I don't think he ever said that. Watch the movie again and tell me if he did in the scene, whatever it may be, that he's talking about it in:confused:

Thor

I distinctivly remember him saying it. It was to Leia!!!

I haven't got the films....COME ON, STONE ME!!!!

You said that we'd see the millenium falcon...but you couldn't back up your statement....er....um...

In episode two during the chase scene you can see a millenium falcon. Go buy it on DVD tomarrow, I am.

Just because the ship fought in the clone wars doesnt mean that Han Solo did. Han was supposed to be about 20 in the movie, how could he of fought in the clone wars if he was 3 or 4?

Pollux V
11-11-02, 07:13 PM
I don't know if I'll be able to. I can't get a ride to where they'll sell it! Argghhghghh! It's like fourty miles away!

But where, exactly, in episode 2 do we see it?

Pero donde, exactamente, en episode dos miramos?

hehe....spanish rocks.

goofyfish
11-11-02, 07:21 PM
Don't you suppose their might be more than ship built from
the same plans as the Millenium Falcon? In the entire galaxy?

Pollux V
11-11-02, 07:36 PM
Goofy, it makes no difference. The YT-1600 Correllian Transport is the model I believe, and yes, there are tons of them, but I'm not sure that they're around in the time period of episode 2.

They should make Correlia a location in the next movie. Anyhoo

Goofy, despite your neverending sarcasm, I'm still waiting for your thoughts on the movie, damnit.

CounslerCoffee

Goofy I said A MILLENIUM FALCOM. Not THE millenium falcom, a millenium falcom. And you can see it during the chase scene.

Thor

Counsler, I didn't say Han Solo fought in the war. He was prolly only a tot then. Anyway, he hasn't always owned that, he won it off Lando.
Anyway, I didn't see the Falcon or similar ship in Ep2...all I could stare at was Natalie Portman's overly erect nipples

THEY WERE HUGE ON THE CINEMA SCREEN!!!
It was the size of your head!!!!!

Pollux V
11-12-02, 06:49 AM
That they were. I wondered if they were edited out of the dvd. That would sucker major ass if they did.

I think Natalie Portman was one of the reasons why me and my exgirlfriend broke up... I took her to see that movie.

Thor
11-12-02, 02:00 PM
Counsler, I saw it with my mum cos she didn't want to see it on her own. I was Uber uncomfortable!!!!!

Pollux V
11-12-02, 02:03 PM
Yeah, I can believe that sex scenes with parents and/or girlfriends must be uncomfortable. Counsler...why would that have anything to do with breaking up, though. Specifically....?

Thor
11-12-02, 02:20 PM
Actually, I've seen quite alot of films at the cinema that shows nudity.

If it wasn't for the fact that these things were like Monster Truck wheels, I'd probably have been ok!!!

It wasn't until after the film when my mum said to me 'Weren't her nipples huge!!!'

:o

CounslerCoffee
11-12-02, 08:12 PM
Ewww Thor your mom said that? I wouldnt be able to consider Ms. Portman hot after that... You do not want to know about my exgirlfriend.:bugeye:

Pollux V
11-13-02, 06:42 AM
I asked, didn't I?

Anyhoo...back on topic. I've been wondering lately what I would do, had I held the reigns of the star wars universe. I shall mull over this, but as for the rest of you rat mongrels, I would suggest writing out what you would do, had you the ability to script the prequels of star wars.

Star Wars Episode III - Fall Of The Jedi

CounslerCoffee
11-13-02, 10:19 AM
Nah. Star Wars Episode III - Rise Of The Empire

Pollux V
11-13-02, 02:25 PM
Goofy might be close...it would make the title "return of the jedi" have added meaning.

But as for what I would do, had I been able to control the earlier star wars universe (even though there's dozens of thousands of years that georgie doesn't cover) I would:

(working within George Lucas' shell)
I
-Have completely taken out Jar Jar, replaced him with a more serious character that is not computer animated, and who is also human. I would have also gotten rid of the gungans, and would have instead made there be a second human sect on Naboo. It's not that I'm prejudiced against aliens, it's just that this is what I want.

-When the story started Anakin would have been much older and Amidala wouldn't have been 14 years old when she was elected to QUEEN of an entire PLANET. That's some crazy shiiite...

-Obi Wan would have somehow indirectly killed Qui Gon at the beginning of the film, making him extremely reclusive. He does so on Naboo when they are fleeing from the planet and he takes Amidala to Tatooine, where he meets Anakin. This, I think, gives Obi Wan more depth. Anakin is about sixteen years old and becomes infatuated with Amidala, however, one of Amidala's servants really likes Anakin, and she becomes jealous.

-They all head to Coruscant, where the servant plots to kill both anakin and amidala by hiring two rogue dark jedi, Darth Maul and Darth Sidious, to do the job. Anakin, already knowing of a small portion of the force, fights them with Kenobi. Kenobi falls, Anakin takes his lightsaber and finishes off Maul. Sidious gets away, and the servant commits suicide by jumping off one the skyscrapers on coruscant.

-The Trade Federation destroys Naboo (not literally, it just enslaves the people, ruins the land, etc etc). The Republic does not allow Amidala to leave Coruscant. This allows the relationship between Anakin and Amidala to develop, while Kenobi soaks in his self-hatred for killing his beloved teacher. He is even alienated by the council. Thus, the story ends.

II
-Movie starts with Anakin and Amidala having children, Luke and Leia. Anakin is now a full fledged Jedi and Kenobi has recovered from his depression. The republic finally agrees to fight the trade federation, and they send various jedi and soldiers along with Kenobi, Amidala, and Skywalker to Naboo.

-There is a massive battle, both on the ground and in the space around Naboo. Since the republic is ill equiped to fight, they take massive casualties. Darth Sidious confronts Kenobi and Anakin again, they fight, but Kenobi's lightsaber slips and flies away, striking Amidala through the chest and killing her. Sidious actually forced the saber out of his hand through the force, but both Kenobi and Skywalker believe that it was really Kenobi's fault. Sidious, being supreme in the way he fights, evades Anakin and Kenobi. They retreat from the planet, along with the haggard republic forces, which have been decimated.

-Kenobi begins to be depressed once again, and Skywalker loathes him now, the hate brewing the dark side within him. Finally, Skywalker confronts Kenobi, and they fight in the industrial district of Coruscant, the battle vicious but Kenobi winning and pushing Anakin into a lava pit. A medical crew arrives and takes Anakin away.

-The senate begins to mull over creating an army and quickly, as well.

-When Anakin wakes up he finds himself inside a bionic shell. He is both confused and furious, and he destroys the hospital he stays in, lusting for Kenobi's death. He eventually flees and seeks out Sidious.

-The film ends with the Republic voting to create an army and make Palpatine Emperor, only temporarily of course.

III

-Naboo is attacked and the Trade Federation is easily vanquished by the clones. Moff Tarkin takes over the entire sector, as he is one of the leading generals in the battle.

-The fleets and armies of the republic are positioned around Coruscant, and Sidious of course unveils himself to be Palpatine. He kills any opposing senate members, and uses his new assassin, Darth Vader, to vanquish any jedi that get in the way.

-There are a series of battles, of which many people and jedi die at the hand of Darth Vader. Kenobi gets himself together and takes the young son of Skywalker to Tatooine and remains there as a hermit.

-Yoda and Bail Organa (played by Jimmy Smits in Ep 2) take Leia to Dagobah, to keep her safe, but Vader learns of this and follows them there. They fight in the "place of evil" that yoda talks about in ESB, but Vader is defeated. He retreats to his shuttle and departs to orbit, alerting the fleet to the presence of traitors on Dagobah. Before they arrive Organa takes Leia and flees to Alderaan, and Yoda is left behind without a way to get back. He stays because Vader would easily be able to sense him, no matter where he went.

-The senate, all of them, are liquidated, and construction of the death star begins.

Thus, the series concludes.

If you've read this, thank you.

You left out two major things. Chewy and the fact that C3PO and R2D2 have to lose their memories.

Oh and Mace Windu has to die... but it has to be a cool death involving a purple light saber.

Goofy, rrr, you have to stop being so damn satirical all the time!! I bet no one you know can understand a single sentence you say, just because you're sarcastic!!

"How was your day, goofy?"

"Oh, well it was GREAT!! Thank's for asking, now my day is even BETTER!!"

"What?"

"What? Everything, you brilliant philosopher you!"

That's what it must be like.

But since I believe you to be an avid follower of star wars, I want you to voice your opinion on what it should have been. So should counsler.

Mace Windu kind of exists, he just isn't in the basic plot. The droids don't matter much, they only had roles as comedic relief characters in ep 2.

Star Wars Episode I: That kid from the six sense plays anakin. Instead of him hitting on the queen he just stares at her, he doesnt know what love is yet and dont know what to do with the feelings. It would make more sense instead of him saying "Are you a angel?!" How cheesy. No Jar Jar. Instead Jar Jar is actually a character named JarJa. Hes a race of humans that live in the sea on Naboo. They have gils but can also breath regualr air. Anakin is also 13, not 10.

Star Wars episode II: Anakin and Amadela fall in love and have kids (Luke and Leia, obviously). He gets kicked out of the jedi order for this. Then the clone wars start (the same way that they did in the movie.) Anakin comes back to the jedi because they are suffering heavy casualties... Anakin becomes a sort of war hero.

Star Wars episode III: The clone wars are still going on. Everyday more systems take a side and join the battle. Anakin is very well known and already on the dark side because hes been in battle so long. He kills everyone whose not on his side. Because of this the sith promotes him and he becomes darth vader. Amadela knowing that her beloved anakin is insane and gone forever runs away with her kids. In which point she killed by Vader.

Just for the hell of it: Star Wars Episode VII: Leia turns out to be a Jedi. As it would turn out Jedi are the next steps in most species evolution. But because jedi cannot love or have children evolution is at a stand still. So then the few remaining jedi start reprouducing. Over the course of 200 years the Jedi are the most powerful force in the Universe. Due to controlled breading. Order is brought back and so is the republic.

Okay thats mine Pollux. Hope your happy.

Pollux I like your storylines more than lucas'....Oh well..

I saw II on IMAX last night. Pretty cool. The nips were each larger than me. Some of the effects were awesome on the giant screen, the ones that weren't so great stuck out even more. I have come to the point where I just enjoy it and laugh at the stupid dialogue and bad acting.

Oh yeah, there is one part that is hilarious where Samual Jackson just lets Dooku and Fett walk away when he could have easily struck them down. Ahaha.

As for III. Fall of the jedi is the best I have heard so far....

Pollux V
11-14-02, 02:37 PM
Yeah, thanks, fading, counsler and goofy. I've noticed Mrs. Fish here, I haven't actually interacted with her, but yes, I have noticed.

I liked the idea about Vader killing off Amidala. That I do like.

And yeah, Windu could have lobbed off both of their heads right there, he had the right. They were both bad! What did he think they were going to do, give up?

Some of the acting is bad, as are the lines. Kenobi is by far the best, he works with what he has, but it's really Lucas' fault, as well as that other retard he hired to help him out. Anakin had a lot of potential, and he did act very well in some scenes, but hands down go to Kenobi.

One thing Pollux, even though I liked your plot, I found something that niggled at me

Anakin doesn't know of Leia, he only finds out when he fights Luke!!!

Pollux V
11-14-02, 03:08 PM
Then I guess I'll have to change the whole thing. Vader, I guess, finds some decoys the republic put out or something, and he kills them, and thinks the deed is done. That's the best I can do, besides, it took me fifteen minutes to write that, and I had done virtually no brainstorming beforehand. I think I did pretty well, if you ask me......

Guess I'll just have to wait for Lucas to die. Then I'll buy the rights to the universe and make my own grand vision:D

And did you know you can see the Outrider in the special edition of Episode IV? Kinda neat.

Really? Should be interesting. Where, exactly?

And I knew I got it wrong, is the YT-1600 the outrider? I know the YT-2000 is the Otana, a beautiful creation from one of the best Star Wars games I've ever played, X-Wing Alliance. If you haven't played it I highly suggest you make a purchase, you will be occupied for quite some time. The graphics aren't too bad either.
