View Full Version : The Mistery of Existence TruthSeeker 04-03-02, 12:52 AM What is life? What is death? Who I am? Who am I? ??  :bugeye:  Love, Nelson Asguard 04-03-02, 02:13 AM Life is an illusion, a dream from which we all must awaken bubbl3 04-03-02, 09:33 PM another question... where is Heaven??? Asguard 04-03-02, 09:36 PM Heaven and hell are not up or down but exist parallel to our universe. Merlijn 04-04-02, 02:23 AM "Life is an illusion, a dream from which we all must awaken" No! only I can awake from the dream, since it's a precious dream: it's mine. Asguard 04-04-02, 03:04 AM I would challange you on that, but it wouldn't make any difference since i just dreamed you up anyway:D Aware 04-04-02, 11:40 AM at what point do u feel u exist? or perhaps existance is in the eye of the beholder. Xev 04-04-02, 01:38 PM Life is holding out against entropy. Death is the end of life. You are Nelson. You think, therefore you exist. TruthSeeker 04-05-02, 12:20 AM bubbl3, another question... where is Heaven??? Asguard gave a good definition. Another one is: You make your life as you decide, It can be a Heaven, or a Hell. The Heaven and the Hell are here... Aware, at what point do u feel u exist? or perhaps existance is in the eye of the beholder. Good question... I like the FEEL part... :) I can't say it, you have to FEEL by yourself! :) Xev, You think, therefore you exist. Before I wrote this message, I stopped thinking for 3 seconds, therefore, as your statement said, I was dead for 3 seconds and raised back to life when I startred thinking again... ;) Thoughts are not a good definition for existance. The guy that said that must have been the dumbest philosopher of all times (I know Descartes... ). Love, Nelson SeeKer 04-05-02, 08:40 AM Must exist @ some point and some place in order to NOT exist any longer.. so in death I say we must still exist... As far as awareness of one's own physical death and one's mind being preserved- which might be the issue being addressed.. :bugeye:- couldn't offer any evidence..:D (Q) 04-05-02, 09:23 AM Truthseeker Oops, I must have read the title of the thread too quickly. I thought it said "The Misery of Existence." Mystery is spelled with a 'y.' Sorry, for a moment I thought you were going to rant about the misery of your existence. Might be a good read. :) TruthSeeker 04-05-02, 07:17 PM SeeKer, Yes. :) Love, Nelson bubbl3 04-05-02, 08:57 PM Originally posted by Asguard Heaven and hell are not up or down but exist parallel to our universe. TruthSeeker 04-05-02, 09:23 PM bubbl3, yes I know that in our lives we can be in Heaven, too (Love right ), where's the other Heaven which is our Home??? a parallel universe? There is a Heaven beyond the Multiverse... It's where you go when you reach the nirvana/enlightment/satori/salvation. :) Heaven is all the spiritual dimensions, beyond time as we know... Heaven will soon come to Earth. Highly spiritualized people will soon (perhaps more than you use to imagine) be in Heaven, living and sensing the fith dimension. :) All those who Love... and that includes you... :) Love, Nelson mythodea 04-05-02, 10:02 PM ....life has more imagination than we carry in our dreams.... Cris 04-06-02, 11:40 AM Nelson, Try writing poetry. Your imagery can work well in that medium. Dreamers like you can make good poets. But don't confuse your dreams for reality. Cris Asguard 04-06-02, 08:11 PM i pitty you sometimes cris. Not because you don't belive but because you seem unable to alow anyone else their belifs when there is no proof either way so each point is equally valid |
