The accusation of "playing a race card" is being used very lightly now. It also seems to occur in the Israel-Palestine discussion and in other contexts. In general... when someone makes this kind of accusation without qualification, then what should we call it?

This also applies to cases where people accuse you of supporting a politician only due to race or gender: for example, a lot of rabid misogynists may have accused the supporters of Hillary Clinton of supporting her only because she was a female candidate, even though many of those so accused may have just liked her platform or approved of her track record more than those of other candidates.

I know it is silly, but I do not see that there is a name for it. The only catchy comeback I know for it is, "I am only calling a spade a spade." And, as often as not, this results in me being accused of racism because the world is full of lobotomized toddlers.
