Thanks to fark.com for the link and for reinforcing my belief in the government. I would like, also, to thank Jesus for this link because Jesus does not get thanked enough. Thank you, Jesus.

Okay. On with the story. Apparently over at Amazon.com you can view what the U.S. House of Representatives are buying. Here's a short list:

1. Charlie Wilson's War: The Extraordinary Story of the Largest Covert Operation in History by George Crile

2. Middlesex: A Novel by Jeffrey Eugenides

3. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

No! No more! God! No more Da Vinci Code! When will it end?

4. Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right by Al Franken

Also on the list: Angels & Demons (Dan Brown), The South Beach Diet: The Delicious, Doctor-Designed, Foolproof Plan for Fast and Healthy Weight Loss, and something about five people you meet in heaven but only when you get shot in the foot and die in an amusement park.

I don't know what freaks me out more, that the democrats read a lot more than the Republicans, or that the Democrats are trying loose weight and read about sex changes and the Knights Templar.
