Do you have any good ideas for torture techniques?

Mine would be playing Britanny Spears to a prisoner 24/7.

Another would be vinagar in the eyes.

no it is as clear as truth perceived, there are no chemicals other than champagne in it, in our conversation there are no boundaries set forth, no use of force against the other, discussion simple to simplicity

Being forced to listen to pop music or country and western.

White noise actually is a torture method. It doesn't inflict actual pain, but does send someone into extreme rage and discomfort.

Hydrofluoric acid would be quite effective stuff for torturing someone too.

Wrapping something around me so that I couldn't move and couldn't get it off would probably work. I remember how, as a kid, I used to panic if I couldn't get a dress off over my head...

Being forced to listen to Sandy rant about God and saving people.

Or Baron Max.

Or just tie someone down and punch them in the kidneys repeatedly.

Sitting in a movie theater or class room for a whole 5 years straight as a meathod of torture to gain a certain trophy for the guisness book of world records. Of course, in the class room of 30 some odd people you also have food and a lot of random work tossed at you from the teacher every so often who is mostly quiet and keeping you all quiet as well.

Still not adapted to big screen.
It's a short story in his "Books of Blood" and there's also a comic book based on that story.
Movie would be awesome, with the right director's choice.

Anyway, here's the brief plot:

A young student, Steve, becomes acquainted with an older student named Quaid. Quaid is an intellectual with a morbid fascination with fear. He eventually shows Steve how he, Quaid, kidnapped a vegetarian woman and imprisoned her in a room without any food but for a steak, only releasing her when she finally overcame her dread of eating meat in order to prevent starvation; she eats the meat even though it has spoiled. Steve becomes Quaid's next candidate for his experiments, held captive in a dark, silent room, forcing him to relive a childhood period of deafness that terrified him. Steve is driven insane by this forced sensory deprivation and eventually returns to Quaid's house and butchers him with an axe. Quaid's experiments, all along, were to try to help him understand his own fear of being axed to death by a deadly stalker, but ironically his experiments in phobias made his own come to life.
