A dementing old man is being asked about the age of his three
doughters Marry, Lucy and Alice.
He cannot really say, all he knows is:

Alice is the youngest doughter or Marry is the youngest doughter.
Lucy is the youngest doughter or Alice is the oldest doughter.

Can you order the girls according their age from the youngest to the
oldest?

Marry youngest, Lucy in the middle, Alice oldest.

If those ors are exclusive that is.

A bonus?

A king has 3 doughters Marry, Lucy and Alice. Alice always tells the truth, Marry allways lies and Lucy sometimes lies.

Now a prince comes around asking for the hand of the truth-speaking Alice.
The king brings him to the princesses siting on three chairs in a row and tells the prince: you may ask one question only to each princess. If you recognise the truth speaking Alice you may have her hand.

The prince asked one the same question to the all three princesses: "What's the name of the princess in the middle?"

Left sitting princess answers: Alice
In the middle sitting princess answers: Marry
Right sitting princess answers: Lucy

The prince said "this is Alice" and they got married rightaway. How did the prince find out who Alice was (never seen her before)

The one on the left is Marry. (if it were Alice, she'd name someone else)
The one in the middle is Lucy. (Can't be Alice because Alice doesn't lie)
The one on the right is Alice. (only possible option left)

You're going to have to do better than that, if it doesn't cause a headache it isn't a propper riddle.

I hope you like math, here's one I stole from somewhere else:

With a blank ruler (without marks) of exactly 36 cm you can only measure 36 cm. Now you are allowed to set 8 marks so that you can read off all full centimeter values from 1 to 36 cm directly from the ruler.

Where must these 8 marks be?

Have seen this oneħ you must put the marks such that adding-substracting the 8 marks leads to the 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.....36 sequence. (eg. 2 ,5, 9 / 3 is 5 min 2, 4 is 9 min 5 etc. ..not the best example but thats how it works)

Yeb, that's the idea. It doesn't take to long to calculate when you've figured out a simple way to do it.
