How can he still be discriminated now that he is white? What is his problem anyway? Why does he want to be white? I never understood that one.

View Full Version : What is Michael's Jackson problem? Joeman 07-15-02, 06:51 PM How can he still be discriminated now that he is white? What is his problem anyway? Why does he want to be white? I never understood that one. Congrats 07-15-02, 07:51 PM Phew...I don't even think we should even start on this one.... The fact that JackO can even dare claim he is discriminated because he is black when in fact he is truly a strange mix of gray and pink makes it obvious this guy is whacked. And when you see someone teaming up with not only Jesse Jackson but also Johnny Cochran you know something's up....  :D goofyfish 07-16-02, 11:22 AM Originally posted by Joeman How can he still be discriminated now that he is white? From a July 6 press conference at the Music Industry Summit in Harlem, New York: "I know my race. I'm going to stick my neck out here and proclaim that I am one of MJ's biggest fans. And I have a huge sarcastic mouth, so I feel I must be an arse and say somethin'- Mike may seem like a freak of nature, but I believe he must have his reasons for this. He never says anything disparaging about certain people in public, much less on camera, so to be doing what he is must mean something is up. By the way, Joeman, I believe he is discriminated against not because he is black, but because he now looks white, which is the result of extreme vitiligo and not his fault, and that makes him <gasp> different. And people just can't handle that, so they lash out to make themselves feel big. Not that you don't have a right to your opinion, I'm mostly referring to the media here. So there.:p Captain_Crunch 07-18-02, 04:38 AM welcome to sciforums sarah. HES GONNA SUE YOU! you'll get a letter through the door from your lawyer! wasnt so sarcastic.;) goofyfish 07-18-02, 07:39 AM Welcome to SciForums, Sarah! Originally posted by Sarah ...he now looks white, which is the result of extreme vitiligo and not his fault...While vitiglio (http://www.avrf.org/) could POSSIBLY be the cause of his current skin tone, I personally have doubts. There is no question in my mind, however, that his cheeks, chin, mouth and nose are not “factory equipment”. The cheese has definitely slid off of this guy's cracker. http://www.xecu.net/goofyfish/__public/mjone.jpg http://www.xecu.net/goofyfish/__public/mjtwo.jpg He started out as a cute little kid with a great voice and he has turned into one of the scariest-looking people I've ever seen. Peace. --- Edit: add vitiglio link --- Captain_Crunch 07-18-02, 07:42 AM he is really scary. he looks like a porcelein doll or something. Congrats 07-18-02, 03:15 PM I think maybe he started off with true vitiligo, but then got a dyejob out of pure self-consciousness. It's all or nothing, right? It's all or nothing, right? can i be dumn and ask a really stupid question? o.k, i'll ask anyway... what is vitiligo ? goofyfish 07-19-02, 07:04 AM Originally posted by Captain_Crunch ... what is vitiligo ?Vitiligo is a skin disorder in which patches of skin lose their pigmentation. Follow the link in my second post for more details. Peace. Captain_Crunch 07-19-02, 09:19 AM o.k, everything makes much more sence now. ratbat 07-19-02, 12:06 PM The only problem, I see, that Michael Jackson has is that people won't leave him alone. Everyone wants to criticize & insult him. I want to ask, has he ever done anything to any of you? I'm talking about the folks that are constantly bad-mouthing him. Why are you so worried about him? He has no direct influence on your life. Let him be the way he wants to be. *stRgrL* 07-19-02, 05:17 PM I think he has severe psychological problems. I also think he has a really low self esteem. But he is one of the greatest performers of my age. He just has alot of personal problems. What someone does in his/her personal life is none of my business. Although he is quite scarey looking nowadays. And he used to be sooooo cute. Especially during his "Beat It" days....:p Sarah 07-19-02, 07:33 PM Hey man, it's about the music ! <grin> |
