What do you think is the most romantic thing?

I'll tell my oppinion a bit later. I know what I will say- want to see some of your responses first though:)

Imagine coming home and all the lights are off and theres candles and classical music everywhere and theres little notes telling you where to go - you end up in the bathroom where your girlie is waiting for you in a tub of bubbles and 2 glasses of wine. I think thats pretty romantic:)

Well, I can tell you what I enjoy. Spending an evening on the couch under a blankey with a groovy girl, watching (or, actually, not watching) videos, fooling around. The best fun there is.

As for romantic going out sort of things... Probably a picnic at Canadian Bay beach, in Mount Eliza. Very quiet there, and a great view in the evenings. After that, maybe a spa with some wine and give her a massage. I actually enjoy giving a massage about as much as getting one, so that would be okay.

I think its romantic because they ended it together. They both didn't want to live without the other so they died at the same time.

Or they were running from a monster/alien/murderer and drove into a wall. Av will have to expand on the whole film plot :bugeye:

I think it’s in the ordinary moments, like when you’re out together and there are other people. Something happens, or someone says something, and you look in each other’s eyes and speak to each other without saying anything. That’s a big “togetherness”.

And call me old-fashioned, but I also think it’s very romantic (not to mention useful) that the man in my life as well as being very intelligent is very practical (a man’s man) - a rare mix I find - and could build a shelter, track and trap and kill things to eat, etc., etc., sail us across the ocean on a raft guided by the stars (well, maybe not THAT practical) so it’s possible to have some romantical notions about being in a tricky situation on a desert island or whatever without it being spoiled by the fact that in reality he’s a total wimp who couldn’t fix a leaky tap.

I find something so attractive about pyschos who fall in love, and give up everything for the girl. I like the infatuation, the gripping obsession, the stalking...

Then, when he's killed the girl, he'll weep over the dead body as he throws himself and the girl (dressed to symbolize a bride, and he as a groom) into the sea.
