hello guys, just entered this board after searching around with a poggram called copernic. I originally was looking for information about Carl Sagan, then saw some posting about Michael Jacson I HAD to answer! lol. ( I am an eternal fan). I just wanted to get the word out about a site I just finished after 1 year of work... maybe some of you are interested since it is free. Its called talentgrid.com and it has Talent Galleries and ebooks ecards and stuff. I did all the animations and graphics book covers..... and concept, writting! I had good help though!

In all seriousness, I used to play the acoustic guitar. 12 string and six string. For my own entertainment though. Both relaxing and an excellent grip and dexterity builder.

Not so much a talent as a curse, it´s alienating :D

Also, I´ve been known to doodle.

My talents are playing the drums and guitar. I've also been developing my lyric writing skills for at least 7 years, I guess i'm getting better at it.:p

kmguru- Thanks for the offer, but I don't have a website.:( I do run my keyboard through my computer and play around with it. I have a funk version of the theme from an olllllld TV show called 'Creature Features'. I don't know if it was televised anyplace but the San Francisco Bay Area back in the 70s, but it has a cult following out here. Anyway, I loved the show as a kid and funked it up a bit. It needs a lot of refining.

I said I don't have a website, but that doesn't mean I don't have an idea. I'm trying to mp3 a cover of "Car Crazy Cutie", by the Beach Boys, for a site I have an idea for that caters to backyard mechanics. I got the idea while tryingt o find the firing order for a Toyota 22R engine and having to wade through page after page of "pictures of my Forerunner" without finding the info. This was after finding that the Haynes and Chilton manuals explained the timing set up as "To time the engine, set it to the proper firing order." They never listed what the proper firing order was!!!:confused:

1. Cooking (Im going to Johnson & Wales in the fall for Culinary Arts. I'm also attending school right now for a degree in Business Administration)

2. I have this scary (to me at least) talent for politics.

4. Drag racing (I'm an adreneline junky)

Oooh! A drag-racer! I'm assuming you mean that you race motor vehicles and aren't just a guy who runs marathons in women's clothes ;). I gotta know. What do you race? What are you running? Huh? Huh? Ya gotta tell me, pleeeeeeeze! We cruise around in a '92 Camaro with a 3.1 that's been a little tweaked for performance and economy (yes, you can balance the two!). It's my work car, logging in 190 miles a day. It's also my boyfriend's play car, and everytime the hood goes up I can count on him saying 'be careful when you hit the gas' before he closes it.:bugeye:

Yes I raced cars. I don't anymore, had to get out of it due to family responsibilities. When I was racing had a 66' Chevelle with a 350. I was coming home the other day and noticed a 69' Chevelle sitting in my neighbors driveway. I freaked and immediatly started to drewl. I'm gonna ask if its for sale. Their is nothing like the rush of doing the 1/4 mile is under 10 seconds at well over 150mph.
