When hurricane Ivan hit Florida, didn't Bush respond BEFORE damage was done? The right-wingers are trying to say Governor Blanco didn't fill out her paperwork properly--did Jeb have to jump through hoops to get aid? I don't think so. The rules are different in this country for rich people and the Bush family.

I'm not sure, but I think you'll find that very little federal troops or aid was sent for the Ivan hurricane. I don't actually recall any federal troops sent at all ...using ONLY the Florida National Guard troops.

I know of people down there that hadn't even gotten any assistance from the hurricane BEFORE Ivan .....so now they're hurt by both storms.
