Where is Baghdad Bob? Seeing American tanks rolling past him as he sputtered about the "infidels getting their bellies roasted like pigs" was my only source of humor throughout the war.

Has anyone heard where or what happened to Baghdad Bob?

American bombs were blowing up all around him, troops had grabbed the Palestine Hotel and Baghdad Bob, the Official Information Minister would give daily reports which were hilarious. For example, when the US tanks got to the Palestine Hotel in Baghdad, Baghdad Bob said,

"There is no infidel US presence here in Iraq. If any US vehicle or soldier ever appears, they will be buried here in the soil of Iraq. " On that particular newscast, while he was saying that, a US tank rolled by behind him. It was so funny. He continued to deny the presence of the US in Iraq itself later in the broadcast and he said, "Our initial assessment is that they will all die." :D

It turns out he was winking ;) an SOS the whole time he made his reports.
