It's my signature tune as a singer and it's the one that resonates with my spirit, even though it's been years since I put it on the turntable. It's a eulogy to the 1960s. It explains why they had to end. It was our national childhood. If it was up to the men, we'd still be out there getting high all the time, riding motorcycles, sleeping in crash pads, and tooling a few leather belts when we need money. But women grow up. This reminds me of the guy who lives downstairs from my best friend in Hollywood, he makes cool custom belts.
