There is a lot of hate in here at times. And the slaughter is meant more in the sense that we try and tear shreds of each other in our posts. Just about all of us are guilty of it. In essense it shouldnt happen, but it does because we are not all the same and some are more argumentative than others and some enjoy the little wars that occur in this place.

But this slaughter doesn't seem to be stemming from cultural differences. This slaughter is merely done for fun. Is that not crossing the line that should be present in a forum such as this?

True monkey, but at times I have seen that hate stemming from cultural differences. And as you've said, it is also done for fun and other reasons as well. I guess not each individual has the line drawn in the same place as others do. Most who are intelligent enough to know the difference between right and wrong don't cross that line. Others however either don't see the line or prefer to ignore it altogether. I'm just telling it as I've witnessed it over the years and the vast majority of us are guilty of it at some point or other. This forum is a small pocket of people from all over the world with different opinions and views. We've all had different upbringings and have different beliefs and values. It would be impossible for all to draw the line in the same place. The slaughter per se occurs everyday and everywhere in life. It's just that here we get to read it and see it for ourselves and sometimes even take part in it. That's why it's so apparent I guess. Some see it as sport while others do not. Some seek out to provoke others on a continual basis in the hope that they will bite back, which some do bite back and others just ignore it and walk away. Again I guess it stems from one's values and the way they view life.

This Forum is a goldmine of human psychological types.
I started reading this thread out of boredom and curiosity and I had to do some research on this ‘Bebelina’ character to actually understand what was going on here but it seems quit clear now.
I suspect that many of these geeks who now feign indifference and fling insults and clever one-liners at one another and at the focus of their scorn- the babbling
’Bebelina’-, who from all evidence seems to be a pretty face with little mind, were once sending secret personal private messages to her in the hopes that they could entice her into a sexual encounter or maybe just revel in her gaze so as to pacify their inner need for attention-especially from a pretty face- that they lack in their personal lives.
I suspect many of these same geek, socially inept, men-children have done the same thing to all female participants on this Forum and use this place as an alternative to porn or a place to get, at least some, female attention, even if negative attention.
Many of these men-children brought up on white bread, TV and bullied throughout their lives to an extent that forced them to cultivate a clever tongue and a panoply of comebacks and putdowns, were so desperate to alleviate their male insecurities by having a beautiful female actually pay attention to them as no other has ever in the past or will ever in the future, that they ignored her utter inanity and superficiality.
I actually searched for one of ‘Bebelina’s’ more lucid moments where she actually said something relevant and interesting and I found…. nothing but colourful posts, a sign of a need for attention, and boring comments on ridiculous subjects.
But then again I’ve looked for interesting comments by many of the ones now remembering her in cruel fondness and I found little there also.
So I guess birds of a feather flock together.
Here you are now a bunch of desperate, sexually frustrated nerds socializing in a Forum, presumably dedicated towards thought, and you are dedicating an entire thread, that grows by the minute, to an internet personality with little more value than an appealing form to fantasize over.
Fascinating place to study human behaviour and human social interactions.
I also find it interesting how some of the female Forum participants can exhibit so much cruelty and viciousness and yet remain so attractive to these little boys who, appear to need mother figures or are so desperate for female attention that they are willing to settle for the negative sort if need be.
Has nobody told you that women are attracted to strength and power and that by grovelling and begging you are making it impossible to get laid?

I just noticed this thread. I've no idea what happened to make Bebelina want to leave; I'm just sorry to hear that she's chosen to go away. I'll miss her colorful posts and her normally cheerful disposition. I'll miss her photos as well. Now that she's gone I'll come out and say that I think she's a beautiful woman. Given that I tend to dress differently than most other American men, I also admired her bold and creative clothing designs. I knew Bebelina before the rest of you lot through a different board that got closed so we migrated along with someone else that seems to have disappeared without a trace.

Anyhow, no matter what people thought of her for a great deal of time, she took no notice and tried to brighten the place up a little from the drab entities that tended to scuffle round arguing and trolling.
