I know the article is somewhat old but I also founded
"In September of 2006, the Public Patent Foundation filed requests[4] with the U.S. Patent Office to revoke four patents that Monsanto has used in patent lawsuits against farmers. The Patent Office has rejected all 19 claims on one of the patents, which could lead to its revocation"
on wikipedea suggesting that the patents are in use today :(

The fastest runner sets the pace
In America,
And watches money win the race
In America.
They put greatness in your head
In America,
Then beat you blue and red,
Just like America.

They're gonna put you in your place,
In America.
They'll tell you to your face
In America.
They will buy all you can sell,
In America,
To own a little piece of Hell
In America.

So cover your eyes,
And cover your heart,
And pray for the ones
You're tearing apart . . . .

Remember that this is success. This is virtue. This is progress.

This is ... America.

Be there a God in Heaven, perhaps it's time for the Apocalypse. The one great comfort I could have, though, is that I'll see everyone from Montesano in Hell.

Maybe I should have quoted a different song:

They send me out to locate all the dead so I can tally 'em.
And I take my paycheck and buy whiskey to chase the valium.
You may not deserve to serve, but you will whether you like it or not!
No, nobody’s looking for a savior, they’re just looking for everything you’ve got.
Everything!

And I said, "It's alright, and it's okay,
Just learn to live life another day.
Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall;
I want to be there when we watch it all break down."
And you know it.
Don't you feel like watching it all burn down to the ground?
Yeah, when I breakdown ,
I'm gonna show it.
And all my flames will rise through the skies with a terrible sound.
Yeah, when I break down.

In the corner of the Universe where I live, no matter how outrageous something is, we're generally supposed to act like it isn't a big deal. After all, even if Montesano is stopped, plenty will believe it's a liberal conspiracy agaisnt human progress. And, even more, there are plenty of evil monsters lined up beside and behind Montesano. (Same with the corrupt politicians, evil lawyers, overconfident banking instutions, Coca-Cola, Disney, &c.; ergo, why worry?)

Freedom in this country is the freedom to take and have and own everything. In fact, that's really the only reason anyone in any official capacity is paying attention. Really, logic and rational thinking have no place in the American conscience.

The problem with leaving the sick and devoted to themselves is that, unlike a weekly circle jerk involving buckets of cod in an abandoned bomb shelter, this deviation has the power to consume us all.

Stop yer whining. The world has always been a hard cruel place. Anyone who convinces you to believe otherwise isn't doing you a favor. Of course people with money control who owns what. That has not changed except here and there by a few revolutions, and after those revolutions the people with money decide who owns what again... Grow up and get with it. If you don't decide what you want and go for it you can bet someone else has plans for what you can do for them.

Stop yer whining.
Let's see who's whining if you have to pay copyrights to get a child if both you and your partner have a specific gene that is most likly to produce a mutation in favor of the child proven by the compagny to wich you have to pay the copyrights. Besides the child would never be yours, it would be compagny property your yust maintaining it.
that's basicly what the article says,... if you where a pig
