The only way they can make the movies match the book is to say this is a prequel, many, many years before the book and the names and such are just REALLY bad coincidences, but there is a problem, in the book it is the FIRST interstellar war, so there couldn't have been one before it....

They aren't Mobile Suits, they are power suits. MS are mechs from Gundam.
Hey. I just watched Starship Troopers 3: Marauders. They were using Mobile Suits! :D I have now seen the entire series, until ofcourse they make a new one.
