Hello, the point of posting this message is to ask for help basically. I am studying psychology for 3 years now, and although the idea of choosing psychology as a major was very interesting in the beginning i have become more and more dissapointed. For three years now i have taken psychology classes that are basically focusing on freud and only freud. In addition to this we have studied some jung , but not really studied anything else in depth. Now i found some books by deleuze and guattari by accident and found them unbelievably interesting. my question is this, what can i do concerning my masters considering the fact that i do not want to enter a field again that will be ruled by freud fanatics, and if there are any schools of psychology in america that are influenced by D&G. Generally i need some hints as to where i can find more interesting things without abandoning my major. I am posting this here because i guess it's like a last hope attempt, because the teachers in my school havent even heard of deleuze or guattari or anything similar to this. I would appreciate any advice....Nefeli

*Stares*
D/G would fall more under the psychoanalytic school, critical of it as they may be.
I wouldn't see research psychologists being very familiar with them. It's not science, it's...postmodernism.
