I am doing a college paper on the subject of the possibility that our lives are controlled by a higher power; is it possible that one specific blow could lead to our destruction. Does anyone know of any books that i could use to find info on this subject.

I think an all time favorite on both those subjects is The Book of Revelations (in "The New Testament", in "The Bible").
