Ooh. Ron... is that you? Do you mean "what is this non-science-related personal information doing in a so-called 'Science Encylopedia [sic]'"? I dunno, Sir. No-one's written a Mission Statement yet. Confusion reigns as to whether it's a 'Science Encyclopedia [sic]' (in which case the Ron Harvey-related content isn't valid) or a Sciforums wiki (in which case it is). Someone ought to decide, and shortly.
I was wondering about the same thing. I naively started writing science articles but then noticed nobody else was.
http://www.sciforums.com/encyclopedia/Prince_james That someone made this? Makes me feel happy inside.
Interestingly research has shown that the best pages on wikipedia are those that have been edited by a large group of diverse people.
Ya know, Perplexity wasn't banned because of a flame war but because he couldn't stop obsessing over a certain aqueous someone someone... Yes? (I wonder if we'll ever start using discussion pages?) As to content, I imagine it'll be mixed. Science related (and other topical... topics) will accumulate, but at a slower pace than the glorious glorious soap. Oh. And the funnies.
Might it not be better to discuss here? So even those not using the wiki can get an idea of whats going on?
Thats something to consider, especially since editing it out in the wiki will not eliminate it, just consign it to a previous version of the page.
